No Dogs  Takes less than an hour  May require wading  Not Available at all times  Available during winter  Thorns  Short hike (less than 1km)  Tourist Friendly

Located in the IOOF Cemetery. Enter at the waypoint. You may have to give your approach some thought unless you don't care if you get wet. Watch out for the cactus minefield. There is some nice swag, a couple of travel bugs, and a homemade FTF prize. The cache name will make sense when you find it. DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY, PLEASE.

Old timers may recognize this container. I recycled it from an old CCBoarders cache on the Arkansas River Walk. I retrieved it with permission (thanks, Margie), fixed it up and gave it a second life.

You got my heart, you got my soul
You got the silver, you got the gold
You got the diamonds from the mine
Well that's all right, it'll buy some time

This was fun to get to and to find. Awesome container. I last saw it on 1/2/14. Grabbed a TB and discovered the rest.

Woo hoo! a new cache in Canon. After reading previous logs and looking at the ditch (if I went that way I'd get a lot more than my feet wet) I tried going north and crossing where the ditch came out of the ground. I don't think I was on private property since I didn't have to cross the fence. After a little hike without many cacti to negotiate I was at the cache. Signed the log, discovered the get out of hell traveler and dropped a couple that I picked up in "year of the cache- the final" a couple of weeks ago.

Left: troll doll head.

Took: fidget spinner and bad memories.
(Oh the biting flies and thorns oh gosh)

Threw away: one pair of pants full of thorns and a pair of socks full of thorns.

[FTF] 11:00 am.

Didn't feel like wading, so I took the long way around. Sea of cacti is completely accurate. I was wishing I had worn longer pants today. My signal bounced around a bit, so I was searching the wrong spot at first. As soon as I got to actual ground zero though, the cache was right there. Very nice hide. Grabbed a geocoin -- will move later in the month. Tftc!
