Located on the Beaver Brook Trail. Requires a 2 mile hike (ONE-WAY) and rock scrambling.
I placed this cache on the summer solstice, hence the name. Stay on the main trail past the creek until you come to a fork in the trail. The fork is about 100' from the cache.

Made it to Trail Mix #12 and spotted the rock formation across the valley. Decided to push on for this one. There was enough snow melt that I was able to make the find. Favorite point awarded for the great location.

While visiting a clients house in Highlands Ranch, animjason text me and asked me if I would join him for a 6+ mile hike to go after a cache that had not been found yet. I had planned on grabbing a couple multi-caches close to my clients house with a friend but his day was changed due to election day and kids being out of school. I always enjoy caching with animjason so I took his offer to join him on a hike in the Golden area.

This was my eighth cache find today. We had to use animjasons phone with offline maps as I lost service on the trail. We scrambled on the rocks, enjoyed the views and carefully made the find without injuries. My geosenses helped here and I pointed out something that looked like the correct area that would hold the cache. I was correct. animjason made the grab, signed our names and we headed on to find the remaining cache on this trail. Thanks for a fun cache in a beautiful area.

In this beautiful area caching with PayMeCache. We're in the area for some hiking, and an FTF.

This was a fun hide, and scramble. Thanks!

Thanks Amulek! Logged Amulek's Summer Solstice Cache from a seventh galaxy using c:geo!

I had a nice long walk today, on the Lookout mountain and Beaver brook trails - the weather was delightful, and the trails were not crowded at all - this was the sixth of eight geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !
