This cache is placed in White Ranch open space park. It is along a trail named Rawhide which is close to a campground. It is about 2.27 miles from the parking lot and can be accessed on foot, mountainbike or horseback. It is at about 7500' elevation in a hilly terrain.
I have been planning this cache for a long time and have finally placed it...my first cache! It is close to a wonderful, little used (free) campground, Sourdough Springs Equestrian Campground, just off Rawhide trail. I usually park at the parkinglot located at N39-49.117,W105-17.207. Since I often fly to China I have filled the cache with items from my travels: a green crystal bracelet, LeSportsak coin purse, 2 kids toys, rat jewelry and a Boeing lanyard.
