Our second big trip this year. This time more mid country hunting for the oldest caches in the states. Our trip started in Kansas City, MO and continued through Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, the most NW corner of Texas, New Mexico to culminate in Colorado. It rained all day first three days but that did not stop us to accomplish our goals and some. Colorado Springs welcomed us with the snow and below freezing temperatures. But the hunt must go on... Maggie :) and I enjoyed this beautiful country, the scenery, the animals, the food and friendly people.

I had a surprisingly difficult time working my way up here from the parking lot, guess it was my sea-level lungs giving me a hard time. The original plan was to grab this one after GC67 but I decided that I'd take a little break and visit this one first before heading up the hill to the other one. Cache is in amazing shape, thanks for the hide!

Wandering around for a few days finding new states/counties, oldies, and finishing a few challenges. Lots of traffic up to a point. Had high drive to myself. Its a hot one today. Up here for Paul Barclay, but this one is so close. Thanks!

Find #4421 @ 5:10:00 PM on 6/25/2018:

In between GC67 and Happy Roads I found myself passing by this cache so I stopped in for a visit. Debated as to whether I should try to bushwhack up to Happy Roads from here and I'm glad I didn't given the bouldering required near the top!

Final of the trifecta. Good shape. I just wish I had not forgot my walking stick. Luckily I was not to far down the road. All said and done it was a 13880+ step walk in the park!
