This is a fun multi I made for the Catamount Wildland Fire Team to learn about geocaching and practice using their GPS devices. After we where done with it, I thought why not open it up to everyone to have a little more fun and learn some of the safety steps that Wildland firefighters have to know.
All Wildland firefighters carry a little book with lots of safety information called a IRPG (Incident Response Pocket Guide). Not only safety information but almost anything you would need to know being in a fire situation. It is a great quick reference guide!
This cache was put together using the IRPG but you can look up this information online with a smart phone or mobile computer.
The park is a great place to walk around on this fun little 4 stage multi. There are almost always people on these trails so please be kind to nature and the people in the park. All of the stages are just off of a main trail so no bushwacking in needed at all.
Congrats to GeoDog7 for FTF!
