[FTF] @ 15:37! HOO-BOY, talk about a case of good Karma and clean livin'. This was the THIRD time in my Geocaching career that I've lucked into a First to Find out of the blue! After work this afternoon the Geopuppy and I jumped into "Christine" my old 84 Jeep CJ-7 and set out to take care of some much needed maintenance on a few hides of ours nearby. After replacing a Challenge Cache of mine for the umpteenth time, I glanced at the map on the phone and noticed a green box on my map? How could that be, I've found every cache along this road and placed dozens myself? I had just enough cell to pull up a description and noticed it had literally published earlier in the day! "What are the odds" I muttered to Boone Dog who just looked on, happy to be out of the heat at home. Time for the mutt and me to take a quick ride and hunt this new hide up.

Again good fortune found us rambling in the old Jeep today and I definitely needed it to get back up and over here, that's a rough forest road. It's funny, I have a hide down at the Arapahoe Spring nearby (best water ever!) and used to have a hide not more than 10 feet from this GZ that was ultimately muggled. We strolled over to a familiar spot that still appears to be the place to drink and litter which we did our best to clean up. Spent a few minutes searching various spots that looked promising and finally spotted what we were after. Elated, I could still smell the fresh paint on the can and since I wasn't planning on finding anything I left my custom stamp at home. I was hoping for an ink stick inside the hide, but alas no dice just a log and duckies. I ran back up to Christine, and dug out an old pen which was promptly deposited in Pole Position. Snapped a quick pic, replaced as found and motored off to my next maintenance stop nearby. Thanks to CO's LUNCHBOXMCGEE for a fine addition to the game board with my very favorite type of container. Earns a favorite in our book, Cheers and TFTC!
