This cache is located on a bridge on the Historic Santa Fe Trail just east of the U.S. Air Force Academy North Gate entrance. Bring your own writing device. The closest parking lot for this cache is at the US Air Force Academy North Gate Trail parking lot located just off of exit 156B from I-25. The parking lot is on the north side of North Gate Blvd just before you hit the Academy North Entrance gate. Once in the lot you'll see the North Gate trail head to the Santa Fe Trail. This will lead you to the cache. This site provides some great views of the Academy with the beautiful Front Range of the Rockies behind.

I kept getting GPS signal bounce. Cache is just about 8 yards south of where the GPS coords bring you.

FTF. Saw this published earlier but hadn’t been found yet so decided to take a drive and a hike before it got too hot. Great breeze so very pleasant out. Love the views from up here. Made the find signed the blank log and continued my hike. Thanks for the fun cache and TB. Nice job Lucky Pineapple.
