I've been looking at the trail systems nearby and wondering what spots were still open for caches, knowing that I still have a few puzzles to solve. Got a significant push on this one from claudey...I had an idea of what to do, but was missing a key element. With her guidance and excellent historical note-taking, this one finally came together. I found the container on the ground with no log or lid. Hunted around for them for a bit but never found them. I replaced it with a slightly smaller container and took the geotrash with me. TFTC.

This cache had me going in circles for quite a while. I must have knocked it from its perch while I was looking as I discovered it on the ground after about 10 minutes of searching for it. I signed in and replaced it according to the additional hint in the puzzle.

We solved this awhile ago and when we realized how close to home the hide was, we decided to save the find for a day when we didn't want to be out and about much. Today is the day. Actually we have been shoveling snow at church and home and neighborhood and decided to grab this one before heading home for the day. Hot chocolate, puzzle, ProBowl and jammies! Quick find.
