Join us at McDonalds, 2750 W 104th Ave, Federal Heights, CO, from 8:30AM to 9:30AM, Tuesday, June 14th for coffee, breakfast, laughter, and geocaching camaraderie. Small TBs for discovery or moving on are always welcome. McDonalds sells food and beverages for your consumption, but purchase is not required to attend. Come on out, we love to see new cachers and seasoned cachers. All are welcome.

Kids playground area is open.

On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress took a break from writing the Ariticles of Confederation and passed a resolution stating that "the flag of the United States be 13 stripes, alternate red and white," and that "the union be 13 stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."

Over 100 years later, in 1916, President Woodrow Wilson marked the anniversary of that decree by officially establishing June 14 as Flag Day.

Thank you to the 77's for another great event!

Luckily this one was a little north and a little east, making it easier for me to slip away from work to say hello to everyone. Had a great time swapping stories and I was super happy to purchase a 2019 coin (thank you - you know who you are!). Super jealous of everyone who's had recent caching trips, maybe I'll be able to put something together before the summer is over.

A great way to start the day with it being "FLAG DAY". We really had a good time at the event visiting and catching up with everyone. Discovered a ton of trackables. Thanks Gail and Dennis for hosting this mornings fun event.

Thank you, President Wilson for making July14 into a wonderful holiday to celebrate our flag. And, thank you 77's for hosting another fun event for all of us to get together again and enjoy each others company. Don't know if anyone noticed, but GanderGoose was wearing her festive Colorado flag socks :) Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon at an upcoming event.
