Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  Stealth required  Needs maintenance  Short hike (less than 1km)  Seasonal Access

**DO NOT PARK ON THE DIRT ROAD: The road is one-lane wide and is a fire access lane. The road is public property, regardless of what people in the area may say.**

When my friends and I were bored kids with nothing but time and gas to burn, we would come up here and enjoy the view. We codenamed the spot "The Center of The Universe" and it stuck quickly. While I don't spend very much time up here anymore, my friends and I would like to offer the view to fellow geocachers and to immortalize our shared memories.

There is no parking on this dirt road with no passing room. It leads to a turnaround where you must go back the way you came. I recommend parking further down where it is still paved, I don't recommend driving a vehicle here ever but especially if it is wet as the mud may cause you to become stuck.

The land to the south is private property, but the road itself has been verified by Jefferson County's records as a public right of way as it leads to the park to the north, but once again, there is NO parking on it.

Please be mindful of and courteous to the property owners nearby, who are very sensitive, as the road is normally only used to access their property. There have been reports of them telling geocachers that the road is private property but this is false and has been checked via the Jefferson County Maintained Roads Records

You are looking for a magnetic nano. Good luck!

Temporarily Disable Listing 08/24/2018 By Heartland Cacher
Greetings I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

This cache was brought to my attention by one or more of your fellow cachers that think this cache is missing and/or in need of maintenance. I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and I am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner the opportunity to check on the cache, and repair it, if necessary. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. If the owner feels they will not be able to repair this in a timely manner, let me know, and I'll archive it. This will keep the cache from continually showing up in search lists. It can be enabled once you have made repairs. Please use the “Write Note” feature to leave notes on the cache page. Please do not use the "OWNER MAINTENANCE" log until you do the maintenance and the cache is ready to be found again.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to enable your cache, it will be no problem. You can re-enable the cache page http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 by clicking the link under the cache name or by checking the box that says the cache is active. You may also drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. If a "Needs Maintenance" log was posted, you will also need to log an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" icon from the geocache page. http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404

I look forward to hearing from you. Do not reply to this email. It is sent by a no-reply mailbot so I won't get it. To respond, please do NOT send me an e-mail or a message center conversation as they lack needed functionality for reviewing. Leave a new "Reviewer Note" log here on your cache page. If you're not familiar with this process, see the instructions https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=97&pgid=74. I have your cache on my watchlist, and I will receive a notification when you write your note.

Additionally, please note that if I've not heard from you in 4 weeks, I may be forced to archive this cache. Don't let your cache get archived for non-communication

Thanks for your understanding,
Heartland Cacher

Needs Maintenance 08/19/2018 By SeekDaCache
CO needs to check on this or archive it.

Write note 08/11/2018 By SeekDaCache
Will CO please go check on this again?

No joy here today

We searched for about 15 minutes to no avail we thoroughly searched the fire hydrant which is close to Ground Zero. GZ seems to put you on the north side of the fence. Either this is missing again the coordinates are way off or the difficulty is incorrect. If the CO changed the original coordinates you need to update the new location.

I apologize for how long it took me longer than I thought to fix the cache and update the page, happy caching!

Yes, sorry it’s been so long! I will fix this this afternoon.

It's been over a month since you disabled this, are you going to fix it?

Temporarily Disable Listing 06/16/2018 By WilliamMelvinHicks
This cache needs some more maintenance. I went to check on the cache today and it was gone, so I’m going to have to think of something a little more clever. I would’ve fixed it then, but I had forgotten the darned replacement!

This will be ship shape in a few days or less.

Looked for about 5 minutes in spot that seemed to fit hint. But then I was approached by the property owners and informed that the gravel road is private property and car should not be driving up here. You must park on the paved road and walk. I checked with CO and we both agree that this isn't private road; however, owners do keep on a close watch on who goes up there. I was parked in a spot where there was not any sign indicating "no parking." But I was a little unnerved after that and didn't spend any further time looking.
