^ ^ ^ THE THINKER ^ ^ ^

Out for a day of running up Spring Creek with RocketMan and Jeff. We met Jeff at the staging area of the trail.

Made the trek with no real hardships or damage to our Roobs. You may make this trail your trek or you can access the area of the cache via Spring Gulch or any of the other roads. The one thing to keep in mind is that you will at the very least need a vehicle with some higher clearance. And depending on your route, an aggressive 4X4 will be needed. (ie Spring Creek)
There is a view of Mount Evans from the cache site. Look closely across to the mountain and you will see the road that goes to the top.

My goal today was the lonely caches on Saxon Mountain, used this one as a bread crumb to stay on the right roads. Nice little climb up the hill and my first muggles rode by while I signed the log. Cache is in good shape. Cheers!

Had a great day caching with OF-Erad and K9Jayhawk. The day started with a puzzle find, then a MEGA event and to top it off we 4X4'ed our way across Idaho Springs, CO to Georgetown, CO and then headed south to the Honey Badger lair. Thanks for sharing this cache, Semper Fi- OMUSMC.

Long Sunday cache run with OF-Erad and OscarMikeUSMC. The day started at Geowoodstock and then transferred West to the hills between Idaho Springs and Georgetown chasing some 4x4 caches, most of which hadn't been found for awhile...TFTC SL

I met Zoltig and Rocketman on the Spring Creek Trail back in 2008 and they invited me to tag along as they checked on some caches and had fun jeeping. This was the first cache I had seen being placed. That was my intro into geocaching.
Funny, I ran into these guys on the same trail later that summer and Team Red Rubicon hasn't been able to get rid of me since!
I thought it had been too long since this one had been visited. Being seven years since I was here last, I thought it would be easy to find. But, it WAS dark.
Finally found it and it's in great shape.
Thanks for the cache and all the good times!!
