This geocache is located on the beautiful Telluride Valley Floor. It is easy (and recommended) to find by foot or bicycle, but there is usually plenty of parking nearby. The Valley Floor is preserved as a publicly-owned open space. You should not need to cross fences, barbed wire, or private land to access this geocache. Look for a small, clear official Geocaching container. Leave no trace! Please enjoy the beautiful Valley Floor, but help protect this sensitive habitat by not approaching any wildlife, treading lightly, packing out your trash, and leaving behind any historic objects. 

Discover Telluride history! Tucked in this "San Miguel City" cache is historic information about one of the earliest mining settlements in the Telluride valley.
