This cache is located near the Grand Mesa. The altitude is 8,884 feet, and the climb is moderately steep- especially at such an altitude!
This cache is our first cache together! We had fun making it and placing near one of our favorite hiking trails.

There is a parking area for the trailhead across the road from Camp Kiwanis on Highway 65. There is also a bathroom there. Sorry, no ATVs allowed on the trail.

Follow the trail up the hill, and if you are brave enough to cross the cold creek, do so. Otherwise, keep going up the hill and you'll see a way to cross.

**And yes, I know I mispelled cache! Too tired afer my hike to think straight, but I PROMISE that the coordinates are correct!**
