Take a hike, mountain bike ride, horse back ride and enjoy the area. Make sure to bring plenty of water in the warm/hot weather for you and your pets. During the spring and early summer enjoy seeing cactus blooming. Watch for lizzards and other wildlife. No mortorized vechiels are allowed on the trails.  Parking at the Old Spanish Trailhead Whitewater Section.

Logging behind PeachBob - something I share with many a geocacher in this area. We decided to head out for a cool evening hike on this 5th of July, before it hits 100 in a couple of days. It was a nice 72 this evening. We've hiked by this spot a number of times, and now we have a cache to commemorate those strolls. Very clever hide, and kudos to your efforts! SL TFTC

I was in the cool beautiful mountains north of Dotsero enjoying cool temperatures and excellent country when this was posted. Just my luck to be gone. So l was surprised upon my return yesterday that this {FTF} still had a blank log available. Nice short .5 mile to the cache. Something at ground zero just jumps out saying here I am. Found quickly, signed blank log and enjoyed the cool morning walk. Thanks ColoCan for the cache and the ftf.
