Found this one on 8/7/17 but forgot to log it. It was our first day at SFSP and we were on our ATVs on Gould Mtn. While riding my son asked if there were any geocaches nearby so we stopped to check the app. Coincidentally, we were only 300 ft from this one! Our kids were very excited to find it. Great hiding spot. TFTC!

Had a great time hiking to this cache with my 7 and 4 year old! We're new to this and loving it (especially me because now the kids actually WANT to hike with me!). Beautiful view and pretty sure we heard a moose in the trees on the way up and back down again in addition to two deer!

Celebrating the find!

Great day for some time on Gould Mountain...and we appear to have had the place to ourselves! Thanks to park personnel for creating caches in the park and keeping them healthy!

Yesterday after work Ms. Anne and I headed up to North Park/State Forest State Park to do some caching, with the goal being a T5 and a couple of EarthCaches, viewing a Moose, and just a good weekend out together.

No moose seen, but I dropped off a moose trackable at the Moose Visitor's Center cache. Late in the day we decided we didn't want to spend another night in the scuzzy cabin we had rented so we went back, got our stuff, and headed back to Denver.

This was the T5. It would probably be a T2.5 if my wimpy crossover SUV had AT tires instead of highway tires. I parked at N 40 32.793 W 106 0.568, elevation 9100. Hiked about 1.5 miles up the left fork of the 4WD road to the cache at elevation 9700. 600 vertical doesn't make a T5, but I am fat and out of shape, so I will take it.

Dropped off my GCF 2012 Yellow Jeep picture proxy.

Favorite for a T5 in the woods that got me the "Let's Get Extreme" souvenir for the road trip.

Signed the log KA&JW! Took nothing. Left GCF 2012 Yellow Jeep picture proxy.
Logged from my Galaxy S4 using CacheSense.

Climbed the mountain on our bikes. It was pretty tough. Parked at the road closure sign and walked the last little bit to the cache. It was a super view. The ride down was a blast!

Found with horseloverw. It was a bit cold riding the atvs up to the cache but it sure was beautiful!

Third of three on the day. Wow...this is probably the most beautiful setting that I've cached in. Wanted to get this one earlier in the day, but realized that it was a long, steep climb after getting the Pennock cache. I wanted to see if my truck could make it up there, and sure enough it did. Well worth the effort to get up there. Just an amazing cache. TFTC!!
