This log is a few days late. Found on 9/1/18 after finishing the Ranger Mystery Geocache. Love the walk on this trail, especially in the fall. SFSP is one of our favorite places to be, and the geocaches keep this kids planning adventures and coming back for more. TFTC! Left some swag, but did not take anything. Tried to hide it a bit better than we found it :)

Out for a drive to spot moose. The snow is melting fast, so this one was easily accessable.

Finally made it to this one. Yah what a nice cache. Couldn't believe how many signatures in the log books. A lot of stuff in the cache and it's all neat and tidy and not wet. Thank you so much Colorado Parks and Wildlife for this cache. Thank you Moose Visitor Center Employees for the list of geocaches, couldn't do this one without it! Also saw 2 Moose on the way back on the highway.

We found this 8/21. Third of our SFSP cache finds. While going after this one we ran across a family staring across the meadow. Thankfully we saw them as this was our only moose sighting of the trip camping at N. Michigan reservoir. The family we met had already found the cache before we arrived. Thank you SFSP for the caches. They added to our great hiking adventures in the park.

Great nature and geocache hike with the forest ranger! We let the teenager find it with his GPS unit so that he could have the excitement of finding your first geocache. Nice spot and good bling in the geocache! We love State Forest State Park and happy to see that there are many geocaches there maintained by the park. We did not get to all on this trip but enjoyed the ones we did get to. TFTF!

An OK walk. The bridge over the creek where the old fur traders cabin is makes for a nice lunch spot but along a lot of the walk the highway runs parallel. The cache is easy to find. You'll know exactly where it is when you get close.
