The cache is there, but needs a new container and log. See previous logs.

Hit the gate at 7:05 and was the fourth car in the lot, completed my 9.5 mi hike in about 5 hours and both lots were full. Lots of people on the Carpenter Peak trail enjoying the great weather. I wish I would have read the logs as this one is in dire need of a replacement, will post a NM log. Cheers!

I made it to the top of Carpenter Peak and saw this was a reasonable distance. I know that area pretty well as we do trail maintenance almost annually on the Indian Creek loop which is what this cache is on. I have actually passed this cache many times but being with a group it's hard to get everyone to stop. So now I won't have to worry about it any more. The container is shot & the log pages are glued together.

Charley the geocaching dog and I were out enjoying this beautiful and cool August day. We were not planning on geocaching, but since we walked right by this one, we decided to bag it. Unfortunately it is in rough shape due to the elements. We did not have any repair material with us either. It needs some care. Next time we are back this way, I will remember to bring some geocache first aid. The log book is wiped out and the container is in bad shape. It was also in plain sight, so I decided to put some sticks over it. We still had lots of fun, thank you for the hide. We were not able to write in the log book, we I uploaded a picture.

Headed out to Roxborough this morning to grab a few caches. Had a wonderful walk, and hardly anybody on the trails this morning, until I got to about a mile from the car on the return trip. Looks like some of this trail is due to be brushed out! Glad I had long pants on. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches! I was quite pleased to find this one, since the last log was a dnf and it's been a while. The cache was full of water, so I dumped it out, and left the cache upside down to help it dry out. I found it about 30 feet north of the given coords.
