This place used to be a maintained campground- now a day use area only. The cache is north, downstream from the falls area. Easier to access cache if hiking north rather than any other direction. ATTENTION COORD'S CHANGED DUE TO VANDANISM. LAUNCHED SPEEDY TB PLEASE MOVE HIM ALONG!!!Cache is downstream from an ole locals favorite spot on earth. Very awesome place to swim and sun. Swim area can be dangerous if caution not used. No exposure in finding cache. West, past Glade Park Store, South, past Miracle Rock, a fairly short distance, if you go by a house on your right just off the road, you have gone a wee bit to far, you will have just passed a road heading west, that road, just north of the house is where you want to go. Go in until you must stop, not far. Enjoy the Hunt. This last side road can be a bear if muddy!!! This is a great area to explore. Remember if you chose to swim at this area to use caution, check the depth, never swim in spring runoff, never alone and if you are not a STRONG swimmer--- don't.
Looking for a blue and white plastic container with a blue lid, about 2 gallon size. Well Hidden
Originally Contained: A furby, toy compass, soccer puzzle game, mini nerf football, plastic mini football, plastic mini basketball, superballs, stuffed snake, small polished rock necklase- made by daughter, power ranger action figure, bubbles, elf soap, snowflake rubber stamps, other assorted treasures and trinkets.
If you must. In the parking area at these coord's N38'57.859/ W108'52.439, follow this little wash, heading approx. 320'N. The cache lies on the ridge seperating this wash from the Little Delores River right before they meet.
11/12/2017 By Gne Another drive on a Sunday afternoon. I've wanted to find this one for a while. Thought it as on the other side of the creek, so had a nice wandering before getting to the cache. The cache is in good shape but a bit empty. TNLN SL. Thanks for the nice walk in the trees! The potholes are pretty mild today.
