A great spot on the northeast side of Rampart Reservoir. There are two options to reach the cache: the "Backdoor" trail from Rampart Reservoir or a trail from Shubarth Rd (please see listed waypoints). There is no need to bushwhack. Enjoy the view!

What a pretty view! We woke up this morning from our camp site and set out on a 20 mile trek. This was our first stop, and I am so glad we made the hike. Thank you for hiding this!

We rode around the reservoir on a beautiful fall day & picked up this cache. We had never been on this trail before & wished it wasn't so far from the TH parking so we could ride to Stanley Reservoir. But we did stop for lunch & enjoyed the view. All was in good condition even though the box had been chewed. I rescued the TB.

The hike up Stanley's Canyon began in a cloud deck and ended clear of clouds with a clear sunny day. I used to be a Cadet, so enjoyed the familiar hike on my visit to CO and got a big kick out of the cadet memorabilia in the cache. TNLN. TFTC!
