Hello from the west coast! Jimlips and I are visiting from northern California. Our goals are to get both Tarryall, and Mingo, among other fine caches. My muggle brother joined us today, and he made most of the finds...without a GPSr! Jim solved this one, I was happy to go along for the find. We found it, but I'm thinking the terrain should now be more like a 3.0. TNLNSL ~ Thanks Approve

Out with NightKnight from Sacramento - caching in the area today. Thanks for the find! I've been into electronics since I was 8, and my dad taught me Ohm's law, so this was no problem for me. The hike to the cache was another story. It was really hot today when we make the walk to GZ, and it was a longer walk than we normally do. Not sure if we parked in the best spot, but made the walk. I'm thinking the terrain should be a little higher, considering all the weeds, pretty much makes you slide down the hill if you don't hold on. But NightKnights Muggle brother did the deed after I spotted the cache.

It has been a long time since I have done this resistor & capacitor stuff, so I had to look up the formulas. The cache had a little water in it and the log was damp but still usable. Then when I was putting it back in its place the wire broke. I had a zip tie with me so I used that. TFTC.

I worked on this puzzle last week while I was at work. On Sunday night we packed up the car and drove 13hrs to find this cache!!! Just kidding. Family is here on vacation and I am caching my buns off. The boy and I snuck away to snatch this one up. SL thank you!

1:49:00 PM We are visiting from Dallas. We are coming to the end of our week in Divide at one of our favorite places. Frown Today we stopped by the Farmer's Market in Woodland Park and then headed down to Green Mountain Falls for some hiking (and a few geocaches, of course).

I wanted to grab this one on the way in, but had to wait until after we finished our hiking for the day. I noticed this puzzle last night when researching caches in the area of the hike. I haven't done this kind of calculations in 35 years. In fact, I had to look up the rules again. Thanks for the refresher! Solved 11:42 pm 8/18/2016.

When I arrived at the GZ, I was really glad this wasn't an evil hide. I happily signed the log. Thanks, KC0HEV, for creating the puzzle and placing this cache for me to find.

Catching up on logs. Found a couple of days ago on the way back from Tarryall. Thanks for the fun puzzle. SL.

Wow, I didn't realize this one had not been logged since 2014! We really took a chance in the snow to find this one. Wasn't sure if we were even supposed to be driving on the road, but my huggle rarely likes to walk, especially when it is snowing, so down we went. At GZ things were a bit slick, but I spotted the cache & got the log signed & replaced.
I had solved it the night before, which was a challenge for me. Thanks for Google & websites willing to teach me how to do Circuit Analysis. It was something I have always been interested in, but as a young midwest girl in the 70's, it was still discouraged. Would have probably been a piece of cake for my son who is a USMC radar tech now and my dad who is an ME, but whose hobby was building electronics-radios, TV's, an Oscilloscope, even an electric organ for his mother down in his iconic basement workshop. Remember Heathkit? He was a regular customer.
