This cache is located in Castlewood Canyon State Park. Entrance fee is required. This cache is along Homestead Trail.which makes a really nice 2 mile loop with Cherry Creek Trail. There are several other trails that intersect this one that will lead you to a waterfall and to the dam ruins.

Near the remains of the Lucas Homestead on Homestead Trail. Container is painted dark green and is approximately 2"x2".

After the Castlewood Canyon CITO event I hunted a few caches and this one made the list. This one probably took a bit longer than it should have, but I eventually found it. It's not green anymore. I signed the log and put it back where found. The container and log are in good condition. Thanks for adding to my fun today.
