This is my first cache! It is located about a ten minute hike from the parking lot at Sharptail Ridge Open Space.

 

 
Small, bright orange cubic container with only a log. BYOP. This open space is closes periodically for hunting in the fall, and entrance to where the cache is is prohibited (2012: Sep 6-26, Oct 11-Nov 20). Happy hunting!!!

Nice hide. In the interest of Leave No Trace, might I suggest you place it so that it's on/beside the trail? This would prevent creation of social trails and protect the seekers as well as the terrain. Just saying. Thanks.

I have ridden my horse past this cache several times and haven't stopped, so decided to clear 2 caches from Sharptail Ridge. I found this cache quickly once I got near the GZ. Great day for a muddy/snowy/slippery walk to get to this cache. It was more adventurous than I had planned, but I needed the exercise! Apparently Bigfoot and his dog thought it was a nice day for a walk as well. I didn't see any signs saying that Bigfoot wasn't allowed, but no dogs are allowed in this park. Took nothing, left yen, signed log. Thanks RebelPeter for placing this cache so that we can play!

Found this on my hike on the Sharptail Ridge trail! Nice spot for this cache the views from there are awesome! Cache and log is in great shape! My 2nd cache for 2018!
