Spotted this location while walking the jeep road out to Mondo's Hot Chocolate#17.

Heed his warning about the condition of the road "A high clearance vehicle is highly recommended.and may require 4x4 drive."
The cache is a small medicine bottle under a pile of rocks.

There's a nice view back down Hamlin Gulch.

Thanks, sassydil! This morning I came up to the mountains to find geocaches in both Clear Creek and Gilpin counties. The roads were a lot rougher than I expected, and there was still snow in some sections. I am glad I was able to do a loop and not have to go back the way I came. We recently bought a Subaru Forester, so we had the all wheel drive and ground clearance necessary for these roads, but it was a new experience for me. The Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Camry would never have made it. It was a lot of fun, and I hope to come back to the mountains several more times in the next few months on the paved and unpaved roads in the area.

12:07. Came to this cache from the west but had to park in the road about 350' from it because of a sort of ledge. With my longer truck and no other vehicles along I felt that the risk of trouble if I attempted to cross was just a little too high. Besides, walking is good exercise. TFTC. TNLNSL.
