This cache was placed on the return from FrontRange Moving Target.
Cache is a decon container hidden in the vicinity of FrontRange Moving Target (or at least where FRMT was on this day!) Hopefully it will fill the niche of a little something for everyone, as will be evident to the finder. Since it's a rather long trip in, it will be nice to at least be able to log two caches for the trip, or have a consolation cache if FRMT is not found!

Parking is available at the Noddle TH at 39.19.322 105.07.760 The initial approach is on an ATV trail so it would be advisable to go to this cache on a weekday. Attributes do not include motorcycles or quads, as they could only be used on part of the approach.

Have fun!

We brought the horses up to ride the Noddles trail & see how close we could get to the 3 caches on this ridge. We were able to ride right up to the base of the south cache. We could have ridden to this one but it was faster for me to leave the huggle with the horses so they could nap in the sun. Found this one easily, attached is my proof.

Out hiking with Rob14erGuy and SnailMan1 this morning.

We all got a good laugh on this one and put it back together so it still works.

Thanks for a fun one!

Funny idea for a cache. Like Snailman1 said, many dead trees had been cut down sometime in the last 5 years, so the idea behind this one had changed. It was still obvious where it was hidden, so Snailman1 put a replacement there.
Thanks

Hartsdale, Rob14erGuy and I hiked over from the noodles designated parking area to find the caches along this ridge. We hiked to the bottom of the valley and followed the trail much of the way towards these caches. We eventually went off trail to gain the top of the ridge. When we arrived we saw what we at first thought was a destroyed ammo can. After searching for the cache and not finding anything we looked more closely and finally recognized what we were really looking at. That had to be the original container cover. It looks like whoever was cutting down the trees up here must of taken the cache and left the cover. The tree that was at GZ had been cut down but the stump was still there for use so we replaced the cover to its likely spot and left a replacement log. Great hide! TFTC.

This hide made us giggle as we approached. Really nice area at the top, though the primary reason we made this trip was to retrieve the FRMT placed nearby the night before.
Parked at Noddle and hiked a good portion of the atv trail... though couldn't figure out where it was headed so ended up making our own way up and down the mountain, overall turning it into a 6 hour bushwacking adventure. The waypoints for hiking trail (as listed on nearby cache) had a no parking sign in front of it, not really sure what the best or fastest approach would have been!
Took scrabble tile and zip tie (tie was perfect for temporary shoelace repairs) being the only swag in the cache, we left ruler, screen cleaner, and rubiks cube. Caches in places like this deserve good swag. Tftc!
