Found it 05/29/2022 By Denali41
After 3 days of irrigating on the farm I wanted a day away from the work so I had planned to get to Longmont and make another try for World of Hertz. But last night I saw notice of the publication of this cache and the other new screechybird cache along the Storm Mountain access roadways and made a quick change of plans. My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo had a scheduled "play date" with other dogs, including their two St. Bernard buddies, so I needed to wait for that walk/play time around the farm to end before we got underway. It sprinkled on us as we drove to Big T Canyon and then up onto the flanks of Storm Mountain, but it was too light a rain to be of concern. I parked at the camping area along the spur road where signs indicated motorized vehicles should not enter, and walked the 1/3 mile from there toward the cache in tracks of a vehicle that had violated the no entry sign. Once to the formation a quick review of options found a route I was comfortable with to reach the top. The clouds were lifting, and I had marvelous views from this nice platform. The find was a quick one, and I signed the cache log notebook in the {FTF} position of the log. Thanks for your two new caches, screechybird!
