Continuing my hike up Sunset City Gulch I stopped to hunt for Knarly. I saw in a previous log that the coordinates may be off, but I thought they were actually pretty close. If you think of the name you’ll find it quickly. I found a package of beef jerky in the cache and removed it. WTH? Who could possibly think that was a good idea? I’m surprised the cache didn’t get muggled by a bear. I really liked the container. Thanks for a really fun cache!

Coord's seemed off about 20ft, but that great "knarly" juniper was the key....some incredible old junipers up this canyon....high quality container in great shape. TFTC!!

Beautiful, sunny August day. A wild turkey showed me the way. My GPS was jumping around but found it after a few minutes. Cool carvings. Thanks.

All of the caches in this little wilderness study area were fantastic. We decided to take the advantage of a nice day to find them. Once my phone stopped bumping us around, we made the find. Cache is in good shape, aside from some cobwebs. The tree around this one is awesome, definitely gets a favorite point. We took two medieval figurines and left some marbles, funky colored beads, and a spool. SL, TFTC!
