We would have kept going on this trail, except with no map we weren't sure where we'd end up. So we turned around after we found this one. Beautiful area that I never would have seen without the help of geocaching. SL, TFTC!

My original plan was to hike up here early in the morning, but we had company so I couldn't leave until after lunch. Wow, it got hot quickly. I decided to go for this one first and work my way back. The GPS said it was 0.7 miles from the parking lot, but I think it was twice that distance following the twisty trail. (Still, way better than bushwhacking.) I landed right between two likely hiding spots, and of course I searched the wrong one first. I eventually made my way around and found the nicely tucked away container. I could hear a lot of gunfire in the distance. I signed the log and headed to the next one.

On the way to Skyline Drive, pasted by The Windmill and going cross-country pasted by the "Holy Cross Abby'. Got to the ATV trail, going on, the ATV trail is like a small, outdoor, Skyline Drive with the views of the area. That is one, must do, great drive to do in Canon City, Skyline Drive, the pucker factor and OMG is a once in a life time trip. Great hiking in the area with the wonderful weather. the trail helps $rustyjones$ and his rusty bones move along. SL. TFTC.
