Each stage of this multi cache will require 1 special tool and that is a UV Light. This is the only way you will be able to obtain the coordinates for each stage. With this multi I recommend you do not wear open toed shoes as there are lots of rocks and cactus. I also don't recommend this one for small children and dogs has some of the areas are pretty steep.

This was truly an adventure, definitely worth a favorite point but some moments not so favorite. Stage 1 required conquering my fear of heights and I definitely went way farther in than need be. Stage 2 came close to a straight jacket trip to Pueblo. Muggles were giving a crazy lady with tott a wide berth. Stage 3 had me going in circles until I finally got the right approach. Took a break and today finally headed off to wrap it up. Noticed something odd but other logs confirmed my suspicion. Thank you for a grand adventure.

Finally! I first looked for this before, but had trouble locating the search area for stage 1. The entrance is very well hidden now. (It will be easier to find in the winter.) In retrospect I may have had the wrong idea about what I was looking for and could have just missed it. Thankfully the CO responded to my plea and gave me a nudge toward the next stop.

At stage 2 I found what I needed, but it took a while. You just need to be very methodical. I was off a ways according to the hint, plus there were a lot of hikers passing by wondering what I was doing with a blacklight. I just said I was mineral hunting.

At stage 3 I got beat up. I slipped twice climbing over the rocks and the second time I got a hand full of cactus spines trying to catch myself. I spent quite a while scrambling. Finally I resorted to a PAF and confirmed I was in the right spot. I just hadn't seen it. Perhaps it was still too light. Fortunately I didn't see or hear any snakes.

When I got the coordinates to the final and plugged them in I had to chuckle as a wave of déjà vu came over me. I had a suspicion where the location was, but wanted to go through the steps and confirm it. My signature is on the log.

This is a well conceived series and a terrific multi. Thanks for all the hard work of putting it together. Favorite point for sure!

I wanted to get a multi-cache for this week's souvenir, and this one is nearby. Unfortunately I couldn't find the first stage. I found the remnants of a campfire right where I calculated the first stage should be. It was very muddy in there and I soon realized I was trudging through several inches of bat poop. What a time to find out my bottle of hand sanitizer was empty!
