Great view of the arch from GZ. Took me a bit to spot this one. Those wood piles seem like perfect snake dens to me. The trail was nice and muddy after the rain.

I decided to grab this one after revisiting another in the area but I made the mistake of going cross-country to get to it. I encountered patches of prickly pear, cholla and steep walls in a ravine between start and finish. I wandered, zig-zaged, back tracked and finally prevailed. Signed the log and took an easier way back to the parking lot. Kept my eyes on the ground with the hope of discovering an arrowhead or artifact but no luck, yes it was hot, but there was a cooling breeze today.
