QueenZelda and Ann Bonney togeather again!!

We met in New Mexico. Not knowing a soul I stopped by The Valencia Fun Day Event in Belen, NM. I walked in and with my tiara and saw her with her pirate hat and knew we were going caching. The Pirate Queen had a Jeep as her chariot. I have never been so muddy and had so much fun!!

My family and I had a nice getaway trip to Fairplay for three nights this week. This included my parents, my brother and his wife and kids and my wife and kids. I had been really looking forward to this trip as I had anticipated getting my 2000th find and some other good caches in the area. Wednesday was a little too cold for everyone, but today was perfect! Beautiful blue skies and temperate fall weather made for great conditions for family geocaching.

This was the fifth of 7 we found on the day!

After getting the nearby Creepy Tree cache, we decided to take the other fork in the road and grab the two down here. Once again, we trusted the information in the description about this being the CO's property. It was an easy hike down to GZ and finding an ammo can was a pleasant surprise! Decent amount of swag in there too.

It was getting a little late in the day and the sun was beautiful coming over the mountains.

Thanks for the hide QueenZelda & Cub Boy. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

On a big Mexico and US roadtrip with rosmar and kiwi.bug and caching under the team name FRK17. First we flew to Mexico and then to Houston where we began an 11 state roadtrip taking in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington culminating in the Going APE 2017 mega and the reinstated APE cache.

A quick drive by cache while heading from Fairplay up and over the continental divide. TFTC
