This cache overlooks John Brown Canyon and the Gateway area with a wonderful view of the Gateway Palisade. The drive up John Brown Canyon is easy and pleasant. The turn on to BLM 819 gets a little rougher but by and large is a very manageable trail and easily travelled by ATV or a good jeep. The cache is right off the road and does not require a hike at all. Cache is hidden near the base of a boulder is a small crevice hidden by another rock.
