Welcome to the incredible hobby/sport/game/adventure of Geocaching! I started about 6 years ago and it has opened up new worlds of discovery as well as many new friendships.

If you are new to this as well, you may feel overwhelmed by the terminology, history, “ethics” and other components of this activity. This puzzle is designed to help you out a little bit, while gathering information to find a cache yourself!

If you are experienced, this puzzle should be an absolute breeze.

The final is placed along a trail that I would never have otherwise hiked on if it hadn’t been for geocaching. But, because of geocaching I’ve hiked along it numerous times. Certainly there are plenty of non-geocachers (muggles) who go up here as well. But while I was a muggle, I never knew this existed.

There are 15 questions - one for each number in the set of coordinates. Once you think you’ve solved it, enter that solution into the Certitude checker at the bottom. If you’re right - you’ll get a little extra hint on the hide. If you’re wrong, you’ll have to figure out which number is incorrect. If you get stuck - send me a note! I’m always happy to help others with puzzles or hides when I can.

Enjoy and I hope you are able to expand your knowledge with this puzzle and your sense of adventure with the final.

Had to check on Happy Cache so decided to grab some of the new (and not so new) caches in the area. This one shows a 1/4 mile from where the trail splits but in actuality it's 1/2 mile. At least it wasn't the death march that I had the last time I was here a couple of years ago looking for the CO's other puzzle. And you didn't have to bushwack! Easy find and everything is in good shape. TFTC!

Nice puzzle. There were a couple of items that I wasn't sure about. Finally got the OK. Got around to making the hike today. A bit cool and breezy but better that the 90+ days we been having. A bit over 2 mile roundtrip from the trailhead at Cabelas. SL GZ dead on. Nice set of caches in the area, a traditional, a multi, a letterbox, and a puzzle. Something for everybody. Still haven't gone after the final for the multi.

Thanks Benji
We tried to find a way from McArthur but ran into dead ends. Then decided to go from Surrey and think that was the long way
We had been up there before going from Cabela's. What a very very windy day on top.lots of people walking and bike riding today. Sure got our steps in today. Nice puzzle also but had to have help as really rusty. Been a year since worked on puzzles as not very many in Yuma.
Thank so much and giving you a favourite point.

I went for a 27 mile bike ride today to get some exercise and to find some caches including this one at the 9.5 mile mark at 9:04 am. Thanks for the cache and for making my route more fun!

I made the mistake of asking animjason what he wanted to do today. Of course caching haha! But this is a nice area, and has some new caches. Thanks!

Fun puzzle I could do!

We wanted an adventure today, but it was a little too chilly to play in the water so we came to grab some new caches. Planned on 6, and got 5. Will come back for the 15 State Challenge. BearAdair was done before we got that one.

I had to google every answer for this one :)

Quick grab, and BearAdair insisted on signing it herself too.

I made the puzzle harder than it should have been. I knew I had the right answers but Homer kept laughing at me on certitude. I even tried a little brute force to get the answer but that didn’t work. After a few hours away I looked at it again and realized I had the correct answers but entered the wrong number. TFTC
