I got a couple of hints on this puzzle and then manager to get the correct coordinates for my ride out here. I made the find here at 2:41 pm after riding my bike 2.7 miles to get here. Thanks for the cache and for a nice series along this trail!

Another explanation on how to solve this one! But I actually got part of it. Never mind...to my delight I found a playground of brightly colored marker balls. Those things look MUCH smaller when they're attached to a power line. I took this photo of ernie66 to prove that he really IS an alien and just misses the kind of hats that are in fashion back home. Another clever puzzle. Thank you.

I had the right idea immediately but the devil is in the details. Got a tip that led to the right decoder, which in turn led to the solution. Out today with estes01 to hike this new trail. Our GZ was pointing 20-30 feet away, but that might be due to the power lines in the area. TFTC!

Knew what to do to solve but my usual source for solving this type of puzzle didn't work. Discovered another and eventually got the right permutation for the checker. Quite a few of those wrong answers were mine! Thanks for the puzzle and another way of doing these. Found with 9livesColorado.
