The geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates. But, this is the best place to park and where you should start. Of course you could park somewhere else, but why would you want to?

To get to this cache, follow these simple instructions. This is a Letterbox Hybrid which typically means you have to follow some instructions instead of getting exact coordinates. But, I will make this as clear as I possibly can.

Head towards N 039° 31.170 W 104° 52.480 which is approximately where the trees start and keep going until you see this big white rock. If you don't see this big rock after hiking a little ways you've wandered off the trail. Which is pretty impressive since the trail is quite easy to follow. Maybe you should try a different hobby.

Once you arrive at this big white rock, admire it! It's a pretty cool rock after all. Maybe climb around on it a bit. It seems like it would be a fun rock to climb aroun on. Now stop climbing around on it because the cache isn't there!

Keep going along a little farther along the trail until you see two good size rocks that have a crevasse between them. One of these rocks is a lot larger than the other, but the crevasse between them is very clear. This crevasse is maybe 8" wide and 18" deep. But I didn't measure it so if it's 7" or 9" wide and 20" don't get upset. I just wanted to give you a general guideline. Anyway, this crevasse will be on the SW side of the trail. Or left side of the trail if you're not looking at a compass. There's really no big rocks on the other side of the trail so you shouldn't have any issues knowing which rocks I'm referring to. Don't make this difficult on yourself.

Now, read the title of this cache again. Yep, that's your clue! Use your geosenses and soon you'll be signing stamping the log! This is a Letterbox Hybrid after all. Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?

Had to check on Happy Cache so decided to grab some of the new (and not so new) caches in the area. Hiked up to the big white rock and admired it for a couple of hours. Thought how the CO should put an earthcache here since, well, it's a rock and we all know that you can't have an earthcache without a rock (inside joke!). Finished the hike and made the find. TFTC!

Fun cache. I like them when you don't have to worry about how good the coordinates are and if your GPS is getting good readings. I just wondered how you can be at point A and walk towards point A. I made the find without too much difficulty and signed the log. Give it a FAV for the fun factor

I made the mistake of asking animjason what he wanted to do today. Of course caching haha! But this is a nice area, and has some new caches. Thanks!

Cool rocks, thanks for pointing them out.

Those were some fun rocks to play on. Ran into a friend on the trail within 20 feet of final, which made it more fun.

We wanted an adventure today, but it was a little too chilly to play in the water so we came to grab some new caches. Planned on 6, and got 5. Will come back for the 15 State Challenge. BearAdair was done before we got that one.

Thanks for the fun one. Those were some cool rocks!
