The LCS geocaching club welcomes you to the oh-so-cruel “Mwahaha.” This large and strange cache could be found quickly or it could cause you fits. You could say it takes luck, but perhaps you don’t believe in luck. The inspiration for this cache came from another local cache “One out of Fifty.” Our club thought…  we can go bigger… and full on cruel.  This container and all of its contents were created by the awesome and mischievous group of Middle-Schoolers at Loveland Classical School (LCS).  It was a fantastic inagural year for our geocaching club, and we look forward to becoming positive contributors to the fantastic local caching community.

When you finally make this find... it will be obvious. The log type will be very familiar. To get to this cache you will need to move briefly through some pokey brush, so pants may be a good choice. Once you get there feel free to to move the container to “get to work.” What kind of work? Well that is up to you. Of course be sure to move it back.

NOTE:  Feel free to TAKE one of the containers inside and start your own geocache.  Our geocaching club would be honored to be the start of some other local caches.

Today, after the Inquiring Minds event, I went caching with my caching buddies, @2lablovers . We roamed the areas west of Berthoud and grabbed a variety of cache types. Just as we left the event a storm kicked up and dumped on us. Pretty hard to see in front of us, but we made it. By the end of the adventure, the rain was barely a trickle. It was a lot of fun.
Evil. That's all I'll say. Took a while to find it. I bled a little. TFTC!

Caching with LostinDenver. A little tricky to get to the cache and then the fun started. We have done similar hides but this one had a little twist to it. Thanks for the adventure.

There was a chilly windy blowing today, so I feel this was an evil cache. It took me a long bit before I could get the log signed.

This was a bit epic. I parked in the lot at the south boat ramp after kayaking the lake from one end to the other, so I figured I'd just follow the shoreline around...eventually, after wobbling over the loose boulders, I discovered that I could have parked a lot closer! Took off on the rest of the journey under cover of dark clouds. When I was just about there, I stopped abruptly. There was a large, coiled rattlesnake in my path! I gingerly made my way around him and hoped he wouldn't decide to visit while I 'juggled' the cache around.

After exploring the cache itself thoroughly, and coming up with a number of, er, notes, I located a TOTT and figured out what I needed to do, but frankly, I couldn't figure out how to deploy it. Never fear, I retrieved the log anyway. As I congratulated myself and began to reassemble everything, I dropped the TOTT - into the cache. Therefore, I spent an extra twenty minutes retrieving it and replacing it in its proper place!

I did enjoy a windy, slightly rainy view off the top of the ridge. Saw no other wildlife other than Snakey.

Super Fun and creative! Pants and close toed shoes are nice due to the pokey terrain. We did work 'smarter' to locate the log but could not stop ourselves from also working 'harder' to enjoy the fun- Tftf!
