{*FTF*} My 333rd FTF and 77th consecutive month with at least 1 FTF, and probably at the highest altitude.
Since today starts a new month and I like to get my monthly out of the way as soon as possible, I checked into GeeohGo which shows FTF opportunities after work and noticed that this one hadn't been found yet. And it was only 9 miles away... Which in the mountains, means a 45 minute drive one way. I got off work at 4:30, got gas, and signed the log at 5:45. It's now 7pm and I'm finally sitting comfortably on my couch writing this log. I have to get back up here soon to find some other caches and hike over to St Peters dome.
The view today was non existent as I was in the clouds and could barely see in front of my face, but I spotted the fungus with no issues as the snow is all gone.
Thanks for placing this cache for me to find and log.

Do we get any credit for being the first DNF? I’m actually really proud of this! My son and I made a mad dash up here after school. The drive is beautiful and worth every pothole and washboard. I am about 95% sure that we were in the right place, but in a foot of snow… Tough to say I think! We were doing our best to practice tenacity, but we came up short. We came away with one souvenir though… Check it out in our picture.
