This cache GZ is located due southeast of the Bear Creek board surfing area. Located on the concrete pad under Sheridan Blvd, it's hayday was the summer of 1959 where the kids from Sabin Elementary and Kunsmiller Jr High would meet and surf on the thin water on the pad under the road. And if really adventurious ride the wave over the drop off in the pool just down stream of the roadway.  Just like the beach surfing guys in California, we were cool. 

The GZ and buildings nearby did not exsist and were a field of tall grasses and big trees.  Tubing upstream was another option for summer fund. Replace cache as found, as Glen Campbell might sing, "Be gentle on my mind"(cache)

Found it on the second try. The first time we thought, no it wouldn't be there. But after leaving, we thought, I bet that's where it was, and she enough, it was. Thanks for the clever hide.

A very difficult cache. I had tried it earlier and then gone on to do the other new caches in the area. I stopped to give it another try on the way home and did something different so I was able to make the find. I would say it's harder that a 2 difficulty. I will give it a FAV. SL
