I was amazed to find such a pretty spot by the creek and a small playground of sorts here!

While this hike might be a little tough for the little ones in the winter or summer I would still recommend that they visit this little treasure. Big shade trees and plenty of benches to sit on. The perfect spot for a little picnic or just relax and enjoy.

I needed an easy and short day hike, so I came back to the Lincoln Mountain Open Space. I managed to make the find on this one with no drama, other than the rain and hail! Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find and giving me an excuse to come back to this area. TFTC.

What a pretty spot for a rest. We'll have to remember this for the next time as it is a nice lunch spot. TNLNSL, TFTC.

This cache was guarded by a porcupine. Maybe next time.

Wow, these narrow leaf cottonwoods are the biggest I've seen! The shady tall grass near a wetland made me wary of snakes, since they tend to like to chase mice in areas like this, but we never saw one. It took awhile to find the cache, despite an excellent clue where to search, since it is well hidden.

We had a nice picnic in the shelter of the huge trees. Thanks for placing a cache here or we may have just walked on by on the upper trail.

Nice spot. The bees were a buzzin in the trees this beautiful spring day. This is my favorite area in this open space. A fav for a cache I can ride to.

Spent as much of today outside as possible. Picked up a few caches, including this one! TFTC. Couldn't resist a few minutes on the swing!
