I parked in the neighborhood below and headed on up. There are rain clouds off in the distance but so far so good. The cache is in great shape but it's naked! It's off the trail so it doesn't make a difference other than it's just not what I'm used to. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3508.

Have a quiet weekend so I decided to grab a few for the 360 degrees of Colorado challenge. Hopped in the car kinda early and headed south. When I started out it was 64 degrees and sunny, the rain rolled in and it dropped down to 48 in a hurry. I enjoyed my hikes today, lots of flowers, rocks, cactus and birds to look at. I'll probably hit a few more tomorrow, it will be awesome to get to below 100 red rays!

This is maybe the fourth or fifth time I've been up on this Ridgegate trail. The last time was in December and I had thought about getting this. But the snow was starting to fall and I didn't want to risk it getting worse.

Today was going to be a beautiful day so I got up before the rest of the family and my geodog Jack and I headed down here to hit the trail. As we approached the high point we saw a herd of deer. Jack was interested but I think a bit unsure as he started whining as we went past.

Once we got to GZ it was a quick find. The container's camo is long gone but this isn't likely to be muggled given it's off-trail placement. The log was nice and dry and this is holding up well after all these years.

Great series and I was glad for another reason to come up here.

Thanks for the hide tripman1. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

All the camo has degraded to the point where the container is not really hidden anymore except for it’s off the trail placement. Lots of toys and swag inside.
