The easiest way to start this series is with Ridgegate #3. Park in the lot at N 39° 31.615 W 104° 52.850. Cross the street and follow the trail south.

I parked in the neighborhood below and headed on up. There are rain clouds off in the distance but so far so good. There was a crew doing some trail maintenance. I gave them a thank you, found the cache and headed on my way. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3506.

Have a quiet weekend so I decided to grab a few for the 360 degrees of Colorado challenge. Hopped in the car kinda early and headed south. When I started out it was 64 degrees and sunny, the rain rolled in and it dropped down to 48 in a hurry. I enjoyed my hikes today, lots of flowers, rocks, cactus and birds to look at. I'll probably hit a few more tomorrow, it will be awesome to get to below 100 red rays!

My dog Jack and I practically had the mountain to ourselves this morning. Just saw a pair of joggers twice. I was thinking of going for the farthest one up this way, but it was starting to snow and I didn't want to risk anything. I'm sure it would've been fine, but you never know in Colorado! So, we took this offshoot to Rest Up and got this cache along the way.

It's in great shape (besides the camo duct tape having seen better days) and the natural decay of the tape improves the camo. The log is dry though and I'm glad to get another find up here. I love this area!

Gps bouncing like crazy. Looked in obvious spot and saw indentation where it could have been although strange place to get muggled. Enjoyable walk at least
