This is another leg in the Rockn Raisin Series but is also a great cache on its own. Also look for Flyin Raisin, Beach Goin Raisins, and Surfin Raisin.
This cache is only a short distance, as the crow flies, from the parking lot at the top of Wilkerson pass. It does have a lot of elevation change and a lot of dead fall to contend with. So plan on a good 2 to 3 hours depending on your fitness level.

The way point is there to help you navigate around private property. We saw about 100 elk in the clearing the day we placed the cache. At the way point look for some out of place white rocks, please leave them the way you found them.

The final is located in the grove of the rocks. you may have to get low or invert yourself to find it. Enjoy the view and don't forget to get the coordinates to the final "Rockn Raisins Live on Stage" .

I got was going to start off with this Raisin Cache this morning, but Wilkerson Pass Rest Area is close, so I bypassed this one.

Crappo'. Made my way over to this one and the gpsr bottomed out at zero feet on the pointer and right there was a leanin' old something with a 'hint' running right up the length of it. Nothing there but a golf ball Frown
I probably blew 45 minutes looking everywhere else just in case; down below the edge to the west someone had built a rather involved kiva- looking fire pit on the rock face. Maybe a firewood gatherer had a hand here? Well, on to the next one.

Not sure why this is a multi - you mention a waypoint on the cache page, but didn't see one listed - am I missing something? Had a nice walk today through some gorgeous aspens and enjoyed the view from the cache site. AND got some more coordinates for the final. Thanks for the cache and the hike!

A fun hike with estes01 in unseasonably cold weather - snowing and 28 degrees at the parking lot. In spite of the misty air, some of the view could still be seen - very nice. Thanks for another quality cache out here! At this rate, we should finish them all by, oh, about 2025, so you'd better get busy hiding more Smile.
