Found the first stage years ago and enjoyed the view too much to have time for the second stage. Finally made it to the final with Java Chip and a friend from TX. Amazing views and really fun hike! TFTC.

I must have gone right the same way as Snail did (below) ... Straight up the incline & then follow the pointer. I was amazed to see the manhole monument & tried to describe it to my wife. This Texan flat lander feels the T rating on this is bit of a gyp.. But the views are superb! Traded TB's so next to find gets a traveller from afar. Enjoy TFTC

Not sure what the best approach for the 1st stage would be. I got on top of the ridge and just followed it. I eventually found a nice trail to follow which took me to the summit. I looked for the 1st WP for a good 15-20 minutes and I was beginning to think that this might not be my day. I did not have the spoiler picture with me and once I got home and looked at the picture that sure would have helped. Anyways, after increasing my search area I stumble onto the 1st WP and I was on my way. When I arrived at the next summit I saw the cache almost immediately. I climbed up on the rock and found real names on the log. Oops summit log. I signed it and then looked for the "real" cache. I found it very quickly. Thanks for the old multi and the hike!

Found the "new" first stage today. Didn't have time for the final, but I will be back in a few weeks to finish it up.

I wanted to do the incline today anyway and once you go that far the first stage isn't too much further. Estes01 was definitely looking in the right spot but it had gone missing. I put a camo'd match container with the final coords in the spot shown in the spoiler picture. I was happy to lend a hand with a cache I enjoyed as I was getting started in this game.

I just looked at the names of some of the Gil&Ani caches I've completed and several have left me with vivid memories…endless trails of beautiful scenery - trails that kept going up and up. And that spectacular view at the end with a rock I could sit on while I nursed my feet and legs. But the best was that feeling of accomplishment when I checked that sucker off my bucket list. "This one is not in Maine," but it might as well be, is what I used to mutter to myself. Oh, and "Crystal Mine"…very nice exercise. So "Rocky Mountain High" is the one I've been putting off for long enough. Both my hiking partners had already done it, and I didn't want to ask them to do it again. I'm sure I've done the Incline before with a backpack, but this time it felt very heavy. Up to the summit of Mount Manitou, thoroughly enjoying the views and watching the hurricane gusts waft snow off the top of Pikes Peak. I thought the first WP would be an easy find, but it wasn't. It was cold and windy and I searched until I thought my eyeballs were freezing up. I was pretty sure the cache had been muggled as I saw the spot where it should have been. After at least 30 minutes of searching the entire area, I sent a text to a friend (who should have been up there with me) and she gave me the coords for the final. I knew you wouldn't mind :-) No problem finding the final and I thoroughly enjoyed the hike down through the Experimental Forest. Anyone who has hiked these two mountains will know that the closest one is Mount Manitou and the other one, with the rocks and boulders, is Rocky Mountain.
This one deserves a favorite point. Thank you.

Been wanting to do this one for awhile. Finally decided it would be a good start to my Thanksgiving Day. I went up the incline to begin and then hit the two peaks from there. Passed through the experimental forest on the way back. Hooked up with Barr trail and enjoyed the hike down. This was a fun one! Thanks!

Happy to call this one #1000!!!!
Parked at the Waldo trail head and hiked up to Rocky Mountain, then Mount Manitou, exiting past the Experimental Forest and down Barr Trail. Headed down Ruxton for the pub, but our ride caught us just shy, and brought us back to the Jeep. Just short of 10 miles.
Proud to make this one a benchmark cache as the staying power of your hides is nothing short of incredible. Only have a few more left, but always a pleasure to hike a few more miles out of the way for them.
Dropped a TB for good measure

Dianne, Pam and I found this today. (The rest of the Stiller geocaching team, Sport, Dillon, Petrie, and Harry) decided to take a rest day.) I can't believe this hasn't been found since October. All stages are in good shape. Near the final is a summit register which consists of two glass jars (one of which contains a soggy log book), do not mistake that for the final. We also found the bench mark near the final. Thanks for a really fun multi in a great area.
