This cache has been bothering me for quite a while, and today I decided to go after it. Apparently I'm not smarter than a 4th grader because the first time I looked for this about a year ago I took the wrong road. By the time I figured out my mistake I had run out of time. I made sure I took the correct road today. I found the container after a short search. The cap was on tight, but unfortunately the log was a soggy mess. I was going to put a new log in but figured that since the cap was on tight water must have found another way in and the container was most likely cracked. I rummaged through the truck and came up with a similarly sized container. I quickly camo'd it, put a log in, and placed it where I found the original. I will send photos to the CO. Thanks for a fun puzzle and an easy find.

Found the container, and a really wet log - seems like these types of containers are just not waterproof, no matter how tight they seem. SL TFTC!

Log was still wet, but I hung it on the bush for a half hour and dried it out. I don't know how water could have gotten in, as tight as the lid was. I put it back with the cap down, maybe that will keep more water out. This is a great spot for a cache, or a hike or picnic. beautiful views in every direction and not much traffic. Signed log and left a small fossil tooth.
