Starr Gideon Kempf began designing and building his first wind-sculpture in 1977. Over the next eighteen years, from 1977 until his death in 1995, Starr designed, built and installed ten of his eleven monumental wind-sculptures on his property in Cheyenne Canyon in Colorado Springs. It took Starr from one to three years to complete each sculpture in his Sculpture Garden.

Hello from the west coast! Jimlips and I are visiting from northern California. Our goals are to get both Tarryall, and Mingo, among other fine caches. My muggle brother joined us today, and he made most of the finds...without a GPSr! Well this is a cool place! This is why I love geocaching, my brother has lived here for 20 years, and never knew this was here. Enjoyed the cache, and the sculptures. TNLNSL ~ Thanks Approve

What an amazing place nearby. Wasn't sure if we could "visit" so just took photos from over the fence. Nicely crafted cache too. Definitely a favourite for me. (Thats how we found this one). Thanks for the cache and showing us this amazing "Art"
