A few weeks ago my husband and I drove through Phantom Canyon in search of some Geocaches. We realized there weren't that many so we decided to come back and add a few of our own. Look for others hidden by us along this beautiful drive.

As the name might imply, you will need the skill of a Big Horn Sheep to reach this one. Recommended for confident climbers. Need to be a good climber although no gear is required. About 30 feet to the right of a big tree there are what seems to look like stairs that you can use to help you reach the cache.

The hubby went up to find this one as I didn't exactly have climbing shoes on ( flip flops). But he came down and said he couldn't find up at the top.

After making it all the way to the top I searched for about 30 minutes and came up empty handed. All I found on top was an old fence post between some rock and a great view. The GPS was doing a lot of bouncing around. At one point I was about 8 ft. I think I searched every crack and bush on top. I did go home and looked at the pictures and now I know where to look next I come back.

Thanks for the adventure in this cache! Holy smokes! I first made it all the way to the top. Searching and searching all over. Well my GPS said I was within 10' the whole time. After looking at the cache page again and pulling up the pictures I did the hand to face smack! Back down I sorted out the pictures and the likely location. All said this was a team effort from my wife (ground support) and about 40 minutes. After making my way to the right location it was a quick find. I love these types of hides and we managed several awesome pictures! 2nd favorite cache of the day! Thanks for this one!
