Loved the area. We can picture a photo shoot here. Looked everywhere. Places that make sense and places that didn’t make sense. Gave up.

We worked our way from Indiana to Colorado Springs via Columbia, MO and then WaKeeney, KS. After spending five days at Garden of the Gods Campground with the Geowinnies and my brother and his wife we headed to the Cripple Creek KOA. We’re doing a little caching and sightseeing between the rainstorms that we hear are much needed in this area.

Today was absolutely gorgeous and sunny with only a spot of rain that happened during our walk on a virtual cache. We found this cache on our journey today while doing the virtual here and thank urban1411 for it and for the smiley. Favorite point given.

Out for a walk in the area and needed a cache along the way. This one made the list. Lots of history in the area and had a great time taking it all in.
It had me going in circles for a few minutes as the gps arrow couldn't decide which way to point. So I walked away for a few minutes and then tried it again. Bingo, I had to use a special function on my phone to locate it but it was there. Cache in great shape. TFTC SL
