You are looking for an ammo can. The trail is an old logging road. The last hundred feet up to the cache is steep.
When I placed the cache today I was hiking in tennis shoes. Dress warm and have a nice hike. About one mile round trip.

See the spoiler photo for a hint. The trekking pole points at the cache.

Remember! Anytime is a good time to have pie!

Growing up we had two sour cherry trees. I remember spending a lot of time pitting cherries to make pie. I also remember my dad cracking his crown on one of my pies - because that one pit got away!

Travelinghiker and I went for a fall stroll today to summit Hicks Mtn. Tree colors were peak and there was a light dusting of snow in the shady areas. The cache is stuffed full of bling for kids. TFTC

The boy and I had a fun time finding this one. Looks like only one other visitor this year and none for past 2 years.

My #1551 with David on a beautiful summer day in the Rockies. He got to it first. That's some climb; getting down wasn't as treacherous as I expected. Cache in great shape. TFTC.

@11:35:00 AM #21286 killian33, Cuervo, the wonder dog and I went caching along Hwy 103. Nice 5 mile hike to Hicks Mountain and a couple of shorter sprints for a few more caches! TFTC
