One of a series of caches recognizing figures from Pueblo's early days.

Teresita Sandoval was born in Taos and married to Jose Manuel Suazo at Mora. In 1835 she gave birth to a child fathered by Matthew Kinkead, with whom she later established a ranch six miles above the mouth of the Fountain River and in 1842 helped found Fort Pueblo.

Most of the information to create this series came from the following three books: Pueblo, an Illustrated History by Eleanor Fry & Ione Miller. 2001. Heritage Media Corp. Carlsbad, CA Pueblo, a Pictorial History by Joanne West Dodds. 1982. The Donning Company/Publishers. Norfolk, VA They All Came to Pueblo: a Social History by Joanne West Dodds. 1994. The Donning Company/Publishers. Virginia Beach, VA

This is seriously starting to mess with my head. I telescoped in thru the picture clues, finding the exact spot, I believe, and there is nothing there! How did somebody find this 2 days ago?

This spot seems to have a problem with the coordinates--maybe it's the power lines overhead. I've added a hint to help keep seekers on the right side of the trail.

Were looking on the wrong side as that's where our compass had us going but then we branched out a little and made the find. Tftc
