(With apologies to Pink Floyd)
"All in all it's just another rock in the wall.
All in all you're just another rock in the wall."
The cache is NOT in the wall.
All along the DSP&P roadbed are rock retaining walls built by hand. These walls are over 120 years old and a testament to the talent of the stone masons. Just east of this location is a wall that is probably 50 feet long. On the other side of the Alpine Tunnel is the most famous wall on the DSP&P, The Palisade.

Great views of the Chalk Cliffs and Mount Princeton from along the Denver South Park and Pacific railroad grade, now a good walking trail.
The old railroad bed makes a wonderful hiking trail about 2 miles in length. With a grade of 4 % and beautiful scenery to look at it is very easy hiking.
The elevation of this cache is about 8725 ft. on the south side of the roadbed.
As always BYOP, just in case.
