Great views of the Chalk Cliffs and Mount Princeton from along the Denver South Park and Pacific railroad grade, now a good walking trail.

The old railroad bed makes a wonderful hiking trail about 2 miles in length. With a grade of 4 % and beautiful scenery to look at it is very easy hiking.

The elevation of this cache is about 8650 ft. on the south side of the roadbed.

Yep, it's a pill bottle, so it can hold small coins.

Headed towards the rail trail today for a bit of hiking and to perhaps grab a cache or two. No luck on this one. We were the first hikers on the fresh snow, so that was kind of fun.

I have been wanting to do some caching along the old railroad grade here for a long time and today was the day. I drove the road until it ended and hiked the rest of the way finding caches along the way. I made the find here at 11:14 am. Thanks for the cache!

While heading west, my wife and I looked a long time and just didn't see it. On the way back we decided it was worth one more look and we came up with it fairly quickly. It helps to look in the right spot!
